How it plays
Snow Chains is a defense, not an attack — you never open a Drive with it. You hold it in hand, and the moment an Acts of God attack is declared against you, you play it and the attack does nothing.
When to use it
A Save answers its own colour only, so Snow Chains is dead weight against anything that is not Acts of God, and a hand with no Acts of God Save cannot refuse an Acts of God Hazard. There is also a risk in playing one at all: the moment a Save goes down, any driver other than the one who played it, holding three or more cards, may flip the top face-down Trap — and if that Trap is an Acts of God one, the Save is wrecked and the Hazard lands anyway.
